I’m back! Production on The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia has kept me away the past few months…but that doesn’t mean it’s been all work and no play. To find out what’s been fueling my geek motor lately just jump…
Number one on the list, with a bullet no less (or should I say Batarang) is the Lego Batman video game. Oh baby, this is so much fun. Lego Indiana Jones was a bit of a let down. It just wasn't that much fun playing any of the characters other than Indy. But Lego Batman, like the masterful Lego Star Wars (original trilogy), puts a smile on your face because of all the cool characters you get to play.

Not only do Batman and Robin have special gadget suits you can choose from, you can also play as Nightwing, Batgirl, Commissioner Gordon, and a host of other good guys. But the real delight is playing as the villains...and Batman may have the best rogues gallery of any hero. Sheer joy this game is, and for all ages.

While we're on the subject of Lego, this may be the coolest YouTube clip I've seen in a long time. The awesome hand-to-hand fight sequence from The Bourne Ultimatum done in Legos. So cool.

My guilty TV pleasure each week is courtesy of BBC America. Primeval airs Saturday nights at 9:00 and is good cheesy fun.
The show centers around evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter, his research assistant Stephen Hart, zoologist Abby Maitland, and student paleontologist Connor Temple as they investigate why unexplained anomalies are ripping holes in the fabric of time, allowing creatures from the very earliest stages of Earth's development to roam the modern world. Basically, dinosaurs are running amok in modern day England and they're eating people...a lot of people...and this rag-tag team has to stop them. There's more to the series than the creature of the week; but, giving away the show's ever growing mythology will ruin the fun. I will say that not all of the creatures are from the past.

There are only four episodes left in the first season; but, the show repeats and it's available on iTunes.
Finally, a shameless plug: I can't help but once again plug my seven year old nephew Liam's blog The Kid's Comic Book Reviews. Each week he reviews his favorite comic books. It's good geeky fun and I'm so proud of him.
I've got plenty more to geek on about...best to save some for next week though. Thanks for visiting us at Suvudu.

I am now addicted to Lego Bourne.
Seriously, is it bad that I'm kinda wishing the whole Bourne movie had been shot using LGI (Lego Generated Imagery)?
Welcome back. And Liam's blog is awesome!
WELCOME BACK DARTH DUFF! I was wondering where you'd been since Comic Con and was worried that had been swallowed up by all that is scifi/fantasy!
Thanks all, happy to be back contributing.
I'm glad you liked Liam's blog. He really enjoys writing it, he just doesn't want to talk about the books he didn't like (which is why all the reviews are positive).
Kyle, I love LGI! That's brilliant.
Primeval is AWESOME! Sometimes I describe it to my friends, and they think I must be mental for loving it, and when I hear myself speak, it seems that way to me too, but I just can't get enough.
