R.I.P. George C. Chesbro

Lovers of great fiction lost a huge talent this morning when George C. Chesbro passed away at the age of 68. Chesbro is best known for the critically acclaimed genre-breaking Mongo series, which combined mystery, supernatural, and even science fiction seamlessly. His terrific short fiction regularly appeared in “Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine,” “Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine” and others.

While George has passed on, it’s never too late to start reading his work. Head on over to his official website at http://www.dangerousdwarf.com to learn all about him. You won’t be sorry.

Rest in peace, George.
