The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia is on sale today. Wow, I can’t believe I finally got to write those words. You see, this book has been a monumental labor of love for a many of us this year. The seven authors - Stephen J. Sansweet, Pablo Hidalgo, Bob Vitas, and Daniel Wallace along with Chris Cassidy, Mary Franklin, and Josh Kushins - and the entire production team spent much of our lives this year on this book. I’ve been calling it our Citizen Kane. And with good reason, at 1224 pages in length, it’s broken up into three books that are packaged in a beautiful slip case. The whole set weighs almost fifteen pounds!
From the A-10 Interceptor to Zzzanmxl, these books detail almost anything you want to know from the movies, animated series, novels, short stories, comics, games, and more. Beginning with the Star Wars novelization in 1976 all the way to today’s The Force Unleashed video game and The Clone Wars animated television series, these books cover it all. And they are lavishly illustrated with over two thousand full color photos and paintings.
Enough from me though. Jump to see several page spreads from the finished books.

Oh...my...goodness!
That looks like a work of beauty. It also looks like something that's about to claim a little piece of my heart.
PS - HOLY CROW, I HAVE MY OWN LIGHTSABER!
THIS IS SWEET!
Kyle Katarn may have a thing or two to say about you laying claim to his lightsaber!
We will duel for it!
...actually, that's a terrible idea.
I'd pay good credits to see that duel. Wouldn't wager the Falcon on you though...
Impressive. Most impressive.
Yay! Thanks for the writeup, Darth Duff! I love the fact that the Complete SW Encyclopedia weighs nearly 11 pounds. :)
Darth Duff is being very modest. He is largely responsible for how classy this book turned out...and the fact that it even came out at all in 2008! I bow deeply to DD and sing his praises--even if he is a slave-driver! :)
Talk about a brick! A labor of love to be the ultimate showcase on Star Wars. Very cool!
