Whether you like American Football or not, the one thing geeks the world over get to look forward to come Super Bowl Sunday is advance looks at forthcoming sci-fi and fantasy movies! While the Super Bowl yesterday was an amazing game, I watched the commercials with the same intensity as I watched the game—maybe even more so!
I felt like today would be a good day to compile the various trailers we saw yesterday into one post. Even though I am really looking forward to Star Trek and love almost anything Will Ferrell is in, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer really stood out for me. Giant robots, great action, and Megan Fox!
After the jump you will find trailers for: Aliens vs. Monsters, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Land of the Lost, Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Up!
Which is your favorite?
Aliens vs. Monsters
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
Land of the Lost
Star Trek
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Up

Even though I haven't ever had the slightest interest in star trek, that trailer + JJ Abrams makes me want to go out and see it!
The 2nd Transformers looks good! I definitely want to see it because my husband is in the military and the helicopters you will see in this movie are the ones he works and flies on!! That is why I'm especially super excited about the second one and I will make sure to hype it up on http://www.everhype.com/?utm_source=bc!!
I loved the book Killer Bowl which is a book about the futre of football. The games take place in abandoned city blocks and all sides carry weapons. Each side has a sniper who covers the goal. A great sci-fi sports book.
I have written a novel called Doom Of The Shem.
This novel is a science fiction story that uses a military theme to bring out a gritty futuristic war chronicle, it is easy to read. I have created a small mini environment and it grows on readers as the situation deepens. I think any person who likes science fiction writing and the whole alien species who clash will enjoy this book. It is an in depth view of war with many hand to tentacle fight scenes and various comical twists here and there through the plot which help to develop the characters and their personalities.

Oh, oh, oh! Have you heard of Scott Sigler? If you enjoy a futuristic football book, he has a story out titled The Rookie that might interest you. Sigler is kinda a high-octane story writer, so you might have a lot of fun. Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there for you. Sigler's site, if you're interested, can be found here.
This Transformers looks WAY better than the first one. I love that the art direction is so dark and creepy.
