A Day with Wilbur Robinson

Just took in Disney’s Meet The Robinsons last night. I wasn’t expecting much, and while — overall — it was pretty hit-or-miss, it had some shining moments, especially all the payoff of the time travel mechanics at the heart of the flick. More than anything, it made me want to read A Day with Wilbur Robinson, the book that was the basis for the film. While I’ve read the Amazon reviews, any Suvuduites have anything to say about William Joyce’s A Day with Wilbur Robinson?

Mostly, I remember loving the illustrations when I was a kid. There were so many fun creatures to look at and discover. And the Robinson family had some funky hairdos.
