Zombies have been on a great roll… err… arm-extended shuffle… the last few years.
Multiple Living Dead remakes. 28 Days Later. Shaun of the Dead. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Zombies have once again infiltrated our culture, media and entertainment and are threatening to take over the world one eaten brain at a time!
My home town, Seattle, holds the Guinness world record for largest zombie walk.
When I was at the San Diego Comic Con, zombies were everywhere and one of the most asked about authors at the Random House booth was Max Brooks.
Bestselling author Terry Brooks even joked he had made a mistake by not having zombies in his books—although the Croaks in the Genesis of Shannara series qualify in my opinion.
Well, the hysteria for the shambling undead has returned once more, this time on the silver screen. Zombieland opened today across the United States and for the last two weeks it has been getting rave reviews at early screenings:

Must see this movie! Usually don't care for Woody Harrelson movies, but this is the funniest thing I've seen him in since Cheers.
I particularly like in the trailer when the baby grand piano wallops the zombie. I laugh my butt off everytime. I have to see this movie!
Oh, I predict like "I see dead people"--well, undead people in this case, that "time to nut up, or shut up," will become the new comedic catch phrase.
