Ever since Wizard & Glass was published, Dark Tower enthusiasts have been wondering what truly went down at the battle of Jericho Hill. We know tiny details King has hinted at over the years. Jericho Hill is the place Roland and his first ka-tet break apart as the gunslingers battle the evil John Farson and his faction. It is also the place of Roland’s worst mistake, one that ripples through the future and ultimately leaves him doomed to repeat his past.
Dark Tower comic book series plotter Robin Furth answered interview questions this week from Marvel concerning the next story arc, Dark Tower: The Battle of Jericho Hill. It is the most important arc of the comic books, one that will mark the end of Roland’s youth and leave him alone for many years before he meets his new ka-tet.
