Halloween has just passed, leaving both kids and adults alike with candy galore. The clocks have fallen behind, giving everyone an extra hour to read (you didn’t use it for sleep, did you?). The blustery fall weather is torturing what foliage remains and is quickly becoming winter—at least in the northern hemisphere. And bookstores have begun gearing up for the holiday sales season.

First I want to thank Suvudu and all those involved for the free book library, it is a great way for authors to showcase their talents. When I looked at the November books I was glad to see: The Best of Robert E. Howard: Crimson Shadows by Robert E. Howard. I have been a fan of his ever since I learned he was the author of the Conan stories, which became films. If you are also a fan of his work, allow me to share a good film about a period of time, in Mr. Howard's too short life.
