There are three movies I am really looking forward to coming out in the next month—and it begins this week.
The Road, starring Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, Kodi Smith-McPhee, Robert Duvall, and Guy Pearce, will be released this week. The subject matter and the actors they have pulled together make it an automatic Oscar contender. Based on the Cormac McCarthy book of the same name, The Road is a post-apocalyptic tale that pits a father, son, and the love they share against a dying world that has lost its humanity.
Since The Road is one of the best novels I have read, I cannot wait for the movie.
Today Apple.com released The Making of The Road, a 5-minute Quicktime movie that goes behind the scenes and illuminates what the director, screenwriter, and actors accomplished during their time with The Road.
You can find the Quicktime movie HERE!
The other two movies I am looking forward to are The Lovely Bones, the new Peter Jackson film, and Avatar, the new James Cameron movie. I’ll be posting on both of them soon, no doubt.
The Road, in the meantime, opens on November 25th!
