So the movie people have done Persepolis, Sin City, Batman (10,000 times), Iron Man, The Spirit (albiet with varying degrees of success). What should be the next one adapted for the big screen?

I know this is out of left field, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Blankets adapted. Also, I think Mouse Guard would make a good movie, though I worry that it would be washed up for a G rating.
IMDB has Thor and Dark Avengers (Marvel), The Philistine, and The Ghouly Boys listed as in production. I'd love to see a Great Outdoor Fight movie done completely in line art, no color. Or a movie version of Black Hole directed by Larry Clark or Gus Van Sant.
I think Runaways would make a cool movie, and I would love to see someone adapt Fables for either film or tv.
Runaways would be greatness on celluloid. Assuming, of course, they didn't muck it up.
Fables would be a great weekly drama (HBO, you reading this?)....Walking Dead would be great as well (shoot it in b/w!)...Preacher (unless you're going to do it right don't do it all though)...I am mad psyched for that Thor movie. I can't wait to see him lay the smackdown on someone with Mjolnir!
Unfortunately, HBO isn't doing Fables - but ABC is. We'll see how it turns out...
I'd like to see and animated Usagi series, similiar to the Hellboy animated series. I'd be all over that.
The Maxx. Must...see...live-action...Isz.
