It’s going to be a big week for Star Wars fans. Not only is Comic-Con about to kick off (featuring its Star Wars Friday and the loads of great Star Wars stuff on offer from Del Rey), but we’re giving you a new free e-book and it isn’t even the first of the month.

How ‘bout that, eh?

Today, you’ll find Lost Tribe of the Sith: Skyborn in the Suvudu Free Library. John Jackson Miller (writer of the Dark Horse Comics series Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) returns with another tale of the lost Sith. And as if that isn’t enough, it also includes an excerpt from Troy Denning’s upcoming Fate of the Jedi novel Abyss which is due out on August 18.

So go on, head over to the Free Library and grab the latest and greatest of the Lost Tribe tales. You won’t be disappointed.

It isn’t June, but this was an offer too exciting to hold back. Available right now in our Suvudu Free Library, is an original e-book short story, “Precipice,” the first in a series that tell the untold story of the Fate of the Jedi’s forgotten Sith castaways, their battle to survive, and their quest to re-conquer the galaxy!

Written by fan favorite John Jackson Miller, this first installment offers a unique look into the back story of events that will begin to unfold in Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Omen (Del Rey Hardcover, available June 23rd). Included with the short story is an exclusive excerpt from Omen.

So what’s the story about? Good question! Here’s a little set-up:

For the ruthless Sith Order, failure is not an option. It is an offense punishable by death—and a fate to which Commander Yaru Korsin will not succumb. But on a crucial run to deliver troops and precious crystals to a combat hotspot in the Sith’s war against the Republic, Korsin and the crew of the mining ship Omen are ambushed by a Jedi starfighter. You’ll want to keep your eyes out for future installments in this series of shorter works (and we’ll do the same) as they reveal the history of the Sith castaways who are emerging from the shadows in the Fate of the Jedi series.
